Traditional Sugar Tartlets Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Tenderflake Mini Tart Shells
  • 2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and put mini tart shells on a baking sheet.
  2. Mix together the brown sugar and the all purpose flour.
  3. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix very well and pour the filling into the shells.
  5. The sugar tartlets are cooked when the center is firm, approximately 18 to 20 minutes.
  6. Cover and let them sit at room temperature for about 2 hours.
  7. Serve at room temperature with vanilla ice cream.
